Magali Charon
Ceramics
Magali began working with polymer clay and papier-mâché at age 10 and has explored sculpture through these two mediums in her various artistic projects.
Since 2022, she has focused on porcelain and foraged Fundy Bay clay, using primarily hand pinching and hand-building techniques to create emotionally resonant miniature characters and jewelry. While primarily self-taught, she has pursued online classes and mentorships with local clay artists and artisans to deepen her practice.
Her work integrates her parallel careers in music, photography and storytelling, blending narrative, form, and sometimes even sound - transforming clay into four dimensional pieces.
