Having recently relocated to Sackville, Merlin Homer welcomes visitors to the studio they designed and built on their property on Dominican Drive.
With more than 50 exhibitions and awards recognizing both painting and advocacy for the arts in Ontario, they bring a wealth of artistic experience to the region.
As the years have passed, the spiritual relationship between Christianity and their Mohawk heritage has become an increasingly important influence on their work. Time spent creating in their studio provides space for silence, contemplation, and the artistic expression that emerges from both traditions.
