Based in Sackville, New Brunswick, photographer Gary Tucker has called the Maritime region of Canada home for many years. After retiring in 2019 following a 25-year career as a music theorist and historian at Mount Allison University, they turned their attention more fully to the art of landscape photography.
Drawn to photography for many years before picking up the camera in 2008, he now focuses primarily on the marshes, streams, forests, and waterfowl refuges of southeastern New Brunswick.
Their work celebrates the quiet beauty of the Maritime landscape and reflects a deep appreciation for the natural world.Most of the photographs featured in their collection are captured close to home, highlighting familiar local places while inviting viewers to discover the universal beauty found within this unique region.
