Hunter Street Silver has passed it’s 20th year handcrafting jewellery and home decor items from old silver-plate silverware.

Artist Jennifer Hunter began in a southend Halifax, NS workshop but relocated to Sackville, NB in 2016. She finds inspiration in the intricate patterns of old silverware. At one time, silver services were immensely important to our mothers and grandmothers and are now rarely considered in modern day living.

She re-purposes what, in many cases, would become landfill into wearable, usable pieces.

Jennifer is a juried member of all three Atlantic provincial craft councils and shows regularly with them. A large part of her interest includes customizing heirloom pieces for her clientele.
